Olivia Brown first release: a PR campaign in five steps
Codekbyte designed and built Olivia Brown (first release) for Search Intelligence. It took a PR campaign from choosing the client to sending the emails, with AI writing the release and finding the journalists.

This is the first public version of Olivia Brown, built by Codekbyte for Search Intelligence. Work started at the end of 2024 and took more than six months. It launched on 23 July 2025 and is still online at legacy.oliviabrown.ai.
The pitch was simple. A PR executive interviews the client and collects a real quote, and the software does the rest of the campaign in five steps.
The five steps
Select the client. Each client has its own spokespeople, brand voice and content preferences, and the campaign starts by choosing one along with a campaign type.
Generate ideas. A session produces more than 50 campaign ideas in under five minutes across four types: expert commentary, movie launch, data driven and event based (the last is marked as coming soon). Ideas are ranked by how likely they are to earn coverage.
Write the press release. The writer takes the client's quote, adds research and returns a formatted release. News articles and data reports use the same route.
Find journalists. The search reads between 800 and 1,500 recent articles from 50 to 100 publications, works out who wrote them and what each person usually covers, then returns a ranked media list with contact details. It takes 5 to 20 minutes, and the screen shows each stage as it completes.
Run the outreach. Emails go out from branded sending domains that are configured and warmed up as part of the service, with follow-ups on a schedule and delivery tracked per campaign.
Sold by the hour
Plans are priced as a monthly allowance of human-equivalent hours. A press release, an ideation session and a journalist search each draw a fixed number of hours from the allowance, and the account shows what is left.
The sending record behind it
The outreach step runs on the email setup the agency had already used for four years. The site puts that record at more than 100 million emails delivered, a 99.8% delivery rate and spam reports under 0.1%.
What came next
The current product at oliviabrown.ai adds a free plan, approval gates at each stage and an inbox that threads every journalist reply back to its press release. Work on it started in April 2026, with a redesign and a new front end in React.
What we built
Codekbyte designed and built the whole product: the interface, the application behind it and the AI features. The details below describe the product as it runs today. The services page covers the kinds of work involved.
Five-step campaign builder
Select a client and a campaign type, then move through ideation, press release writing, journalist search and outreach. A dashboard shows each client's progress through the steps.
Campaign ideas by type
Four campaign types: expert commentary, movie launch, data driven and event based, the last marked as coming soon. A session returns more than 50 ideas in under five minutes, ranked by likely coverage.
Press release writing
The team supplies the client interview and the expert quote. The writer adds research, works the quote into the copy and formats the release, with a spokesperson and brand voice stored per client.
Journalist finder
A seven-stage search reads 800 to 1,500 recent articles across 50 to 100 publications, identifies who wrote them and returns the best-matched journalists with contact details in 5 to 20 minutes. Progress is shown live, step by step.
Regional targeting
Searches can be limited to the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, or Australia and New Zealand, down to sub-regions.
Outreach with sending domains set up
Branded sending domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, a 14 to 30 day warm-up, timed follow-up sequences and reports on delivery and bounces.
Usage counted in hours
Plans are sold as a monthly allowance of human-equivalent hours. Each task draws a set number of hours from it, and usage is tracked in real time.
